(I know I said "Ukushi". Please look again. As for detecting Wind, thou has to be a highly trained Jedi to detect someone of his caliber because he using a high level Force Mask, unless it is another of thy Force Spirit powers)

Richter was trying to hold himself together inside while all ruckus continued to be endured around him. He maintained his position even while Himiko's alter ego tried to blast Vegito with Force Lightning and while Himiko's right mind redirected the blast away from all in due safety, in which Richter was thankful for. He didn't want to waste his Force powers on absorbing another blast to protect himself, Vegito, or even Ukushi. The prowess of mental struggles could be felt continuing on within Himiko, something he wished would finally end. Her pain could be physically seen as she tumbled and used her right hand to stay upright while Vegito struggled to continue his delicate operation to remove the damned object seeping inside her flesh.

As the events continued to develop here, a dense and malignant mist began to fill the air, or his senses. He did not try to particulize which was indeed happening. The darkness began to seep into his senses, and there came an unexplainable fear for which reason he was unable to instantly comprehend. It was so sudden for something like to happen around these ruins, especially being a ruined abode of good Jedi. His logic dictated that it was the stranger hiding within the shadows that was responsible for such a development like this. His better judgement and training confided to him that it was time to let go of his sight and see with other senses and with the Force. He used a rather large helping of Force Concentration to penetrate the darkness and saw almost as if he was using his eyes what was happening around him. While he did so, he sufficiently defeated the unexplicable fear that came about him and clouded his senses. He noticed a noise that was about to work his way around to his right, and his training with his Clan Master taught him to follow such sounds and follow the sound waves like a hunter. Then he saw the man under the cloak with a blur of light, and moved to intercept his movements, because the light guided his movements, showing the intentions of the stranger. He would not allow him to interfere with Vegito's efforts to bring this disdainful drama to an end. It was growing more troubling as the time lengthened.

Thankfully, Vegito announced audibly that he had sighted the necklace within Himiko's flesh, and announced his intent to remove the deadly thing. He sensed Force output coming from Vegito, and he assumed that he was pulling it out with the Force. He came within point blank range of Vegito and Himiko, but far enough so as to not hinder either of them. After that, Richter assumed Vegito was finished considering he asked him and Ukushi to help him out, considering his train of the thought and their anonymous guest that seemed to be a Sith.

"Thou shall have my hand here. Protect Himiko, and I shall make effort to divert him away with Ukushi, assuming that she would be able to help here."

Richter made another scan with the Force to feel out the stranger, and along with the darker stranger there he thought he sensed another, though it could be just an echo. He couldn't tell for sure. All the same, he handled his lightsaber at his left side, ready to draw it to fight off the enemy.

Her eyes streamed with pain, but she was not new to pain. Suffering had been her whole young life and adult life. Images of those she had seen and been with flew through. One in particular who had long sense past into the dark void.. Okama. His cruel teachings made her stronger, yet as his grostuqe image bled off it was Vegito who was before her as the saber burned into her flesh. It wold leave yet another reminder of misfortuned as she looked away and saw a darkness that was in the air. It didn't effect her, but the creature inside her felt it, and in turn so did she.

"Vegito.. who.. is.. it?"

Through pain she knew there was danger. She coudl feel it.. The darkness that wante to take her away. but it was diffrent and welcoming as she closed her eyes and ignored the scream and rage from the thing inside her.

The assassin had not moved from his spot yet, what was moving around making all of the tapping was very long legged spider like robot without a body made up of the thin fiber cybernetics that had been in the forearm of the assassins left arm. That is what the sound of breaking flesh had been before; the cybernetics being manipulated in his arm by the force to break free of the assassins flesh and move at his will. The assassin wasn’t going to take any chances now; presences in the area were becoming more abundant than wanted. Yes the assassin had noticed the arrival of the new individual. He had been an assassin even before he knew of the power he had with the dark side of the force. He had made sure to teach himself in his training to become a Sith, to not rely on the outer powers of the universe to survive. When it comes down to it relying on your own inner and physical strengths is the only thing that gives one an upper hand in life. The assassin suddenly threw his cloak off and to the side and the moment it left his hand it became visible, and a distraction of sorts. He remained invisible to the naked eye however and in virtually silent manner he dashed around in a quick circle so he was on the other side of the group. As he did this the spider made up of the cybernetic fibers that had originally come from the assassin arm dashed with loud tapping sounds at Richter, but when it came near enough that it was within striking range of the Jedi it went down on the ground and lay completely flat and slid the rest of the way on the floor until it was right at the feet of the Jedi. Once it was under Richter the long legs of the robotic bodiless spider wrapped around his legs and began to crawl up his body as it tightened its long legs up to bind the Jedi. By this point the still invisible and virtually silent former assassin of the Sith was behind all of them and moving in towards the darkly possessed woman. The assassin decided that this was going to be a snatch and go operation at this point.

Twisting, Ukushi used her sharp eyes to track the assassin's path. The weasel whipped around the group and sent some...

Ew... If I hadn't seen a ton of things like that, I would by on all fours puking my guts out.

The assassin had unleashed spider-like things to wrap around Richter. Now slightly angered by this low-down way of fighting, she whipped out a hand-and-a-half sword, the blade shining like a crimson sun.

"Release him, weasel. Our your throat will be another item for my eyes to stare at when bored," she hissed, watching the man with keen yellow eyes. She had seen enough trickery in her life to know he wouldn't back down easily. But sheer anger at the way he attacked made her ruthless.

~Vegito looked to Richter, seeing his efforts to protect them within the dark fog that surrounded them all, or it was what it looked like anyway. As far as he could tell, Richter was making his way around them to cut off the stranger's approach towards them. In the meantime, Vegito heard Himiko ask who was around. He didn't know what she was asking, for a particular person. She seemed to be herself again, now that the necklace was no longer anywhere in her body, but now in his hands. He would not allow it to be removed from his hands unless he allowed it.~

"Its Richter. He is trying to cutoff someone he seems to be a Sith. Relax now Himiko. The necklace is out. I'll heal your wounds now."

~Vegito layed his hands on Himiko's neck, using the Force to heal her physical wounds, as well as comforting her mind. This would allow Himiko to relax a little, and feel a little less pain. He began to feel movement coming towards them, and heard a cloak flying into the air. It seemed that the stranger was about to make his attack on them, and Vegito moved a step back from Himiko. He heard the clanking of metal legs, and he used the Force to fight off the fog and see through the illusion of it. He could not see the stranger yet with his eyes, but he could feel his presence with the Force. He moved himself between Himiko and the would be Sith by following out his presence. He kept his lightsaber activated, and increased the setting intensity.~

"No use hiding anymore. I can feel you out. I don't need eyes to see you."

~He was hoping for the Sith to cut out his hide and go seek tactic so that the battle could be begin. His blood began to heat up.~

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeThu Dec 11, 2008 8:30 pm

(Scythe, don't word thine RP in the form of god-modding. It isn't like the spider could come on me without me noticing before it reached me.)

The physical and mental pains that Himiko was enduring should have started to subside, now that Vegito had withdrawn his saber and the deadly necklace of seeping darkness. The bleek fog was still among them, but Richter was enjoying himself, ready to see the face of their enemy once his plan was trumped. Richter already could have put an end to the fog before it even began, but he wanted to see what was planned first and let it develop. He stopped abruptly in his dash, for only a short moment, to hear and sense things out. He began again, but walking slowly but still pacing around Himiko and Vegito.

His ears heard the mechanical movements of a small object, perhaps in the form of artificial ligaments. He didn't sense any variation in the aura of their enemy that would denote mechanical limbs from him. Again, his intelligence confided to him that it was a distraction of sorts from their enemy, to move him away from Vegito and Himiko, or at least keep him away from the enemy's path to them. He continued his walk around Himiko and Vegito until the mechanical sounds seemed to stop. He then noticed a sliding sound on the granite, coming right beneath him. Quickly, he activated his crimson lightsaber and stuck to the ground straight down with both hands, then slid his saber towards the direction of the sound in the ground, until it struck the mechanical thing that meant to sneak on him. Even if the metal spider had survived the lightsaber strike, he would the Force to ward it off with little effort, or use his might to get it off before it gripped too hard. Now he felt the enemy's aura move about them, and then tracking him he flipped backwards between Himiko and the enemy, and rolled in the air so that he would land facing his foe, landing in perfect balance. He then would stick out his lightsaber with his left hand, pointing directly at their foe. He would make sure to manipulate his body, even with Force, so that he would land between his foe and Vegito's friend.

"I do hope that ye had fun. Thy charade is busted, and thou hasn't done a good job moving in stealth, not masking thy presence here as ye moved around us."

A slight smile was drawn upon his face as his eyes flickered with vigilant light.

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeThu Dec 11, 2008 10:04 pm

What remained of the robotic spider moved away and around the group back to the assassin where it immediately became invisible as it touched him. It then moved back to his arm and wormed its self back into his arm with the same sound of ripping flesh that was heard before. The assassin let out a sigh both painful and at the same time satisfied sounding. He did not respond to any of the words directed at him, and did not become visible.

He was not wearing his cloak anymore so he was freer in his moments and would be able to be as precise and quick as ever. With a low deep breath he crouched and closed his eyes as he concentrated a thin barrier of the force into and around his staff. He then slid his right hand all the way to the bottom of the staff and griped it tightly as he extended the force into his fingertips connecting his body to the staff. With another breath he bent his knees a bit more and moved the staff behind his back as if it were a feather and pointed it straight out behind himself.

His eyes opened with a flash though no one would see because he was still yet invisible. He reached down to his belt with his left free hand slipped three small coins from beneath it and held them between his fingers.

One more breath and he bolted to the left at a tremendous amount of speed assisted by the force, and then with miraculous agility was suddenly dashing to the right, then back to the left. Continuing his zigzag as he moved towards the group his movements eventually leading the assassin to the right side Vegito.

The assassin moved low to the ground as he whipped his immensely dense staff around from behind himself and right at Vegito’s kneecaps. As he did this he griped the three coins in his hand a bit tighter and revealed the power of one of the talismans as the one all the way to the right in his hand began to glow a bit. A blast of wind reinforced with the force suddenly burst out in a wave outwards from the assassin to throw away the ones close to the assassin. Even if the attack with his staff did not make contact, Vegito and everyone ells would be forced away from the assassin. Even though this would also pushed away Himiko the assassin quickly dashed right at her, readying himself as he moved his staff behind himself again lest anyone was quick and strong enough to catch back up to him.

Leaping up, Ukushi positioned herself behind Vegito, ready to throw him back to a standing position should he fall. The assassin was now uncloaked.

"I now know why you stood in the shadows. Never has so foul a being been seen in daylight," she said.

Himiko screamed out one last time. Knowign that the Jedi was in a hurry for the Darkness that was comming was heading in their direction. Her body shook as she tried to bite back the worse of the cries, until she felt the lesseningof pain. A wave of release as she grew stonger. Not enough to do serious battle, but enough that she had better control.

Be as it may, you are still mine.. I have you.. one day you will return to me.. I am still apart of you!

NO!!!! You're not! You won't be!

She mentaly challenged the being. How could he still be there after the necklece was cut away? Was it so she was with it for that long that part is still reman in the darkness she still had? There had to be other explanations, but she couldn't think of them as Vegito stood and kept inbetwen her and the thing that was comming at them. Vegito then tossed her a small plactic key card. Cathing it with her dirty hands she looked at him.

"What's this? why?"

The look in his eyes said it all. He wasn't going to abandon her as the women called he rlightsaber to her hand. It wa sa moment she could have used to try and attack them, but something was tugging at her mentally to turn and run to the safty. Looking it over she saw it was for a docking bay and Himiko knew it was his ship. Himiko wanted to stay and fight, but at even the healing Vegito gave her she would be no match for whatever was after her or them.

Damn it! I don't want to cower..

The voice tried to speak to her again and she ignored its cries. It recongised the other power there and wanted her to go with him. To give her waht she truly needed. But no, Himiko wantd her choice and she was weak and tired. The burning was still there as she turned up and started to run towards where the ship woudl be at.

"Vegito..."

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeFri Dec 12, 2008 5:49 pm

As Wind stood in hiding unnoticed due to his Force Masking ability, he observed the actions of the mysterious, enshrouded Sith. When the Sith was discovered, he seemed to take initiative against the Jedi near the woman, who finally seemed to be breaking free of her possessor. The Jedi Mystic observed the assailant's spider droid and his powerful command of stealth.

Vegito and Richter, along with the unknown Force-user with them, should have been easily able to defeat any Sith, but the woman still struggling to keep her strength, it meant taking on a very powerful Sith while defending an incapacitated and vulnerable friend. Wind was starting to feel, more and more, that this Sith's abilities were beyond that of the average dark sider. For one, Wind had only ever seen a handful of better Force-users at stealth, and his aura teemed with extraordinary dark power. The Jedi knew he would have to step in, and he chose to do so at the moment the Sith unleashed his talisman-powered Force Wind wave.

Drawing his blue lightsaber and rushing to the scene, Wind aimed a Force push directly at the backside of the Sith's knees, which would cause the victim's legs to bend involuntarily due to the sensitive nerve spot there, more than likely causing him to fall forward. The Jedi would land gracefully fifteen feet behind the Sith, taking a Niman stance.

"Vegito, Richter, get the woman out of here! I'll keep off this Sith scum while you get her to safety!"

Wind reckoned that it was unlikely that both of the two Jedi and their ally would escape with the weary woman, as he knew Richter somewhat and Vegito more so, and he doubted that they would stand to leave an ally behind. But the Jedi's primary concern was the woman named Himiko, as she seemed to the objective in the Sith's attack. Although Wind doubted the Sith would be go down easy, he was fairly sure with his experience he could at least hold him off until Himiko was brought to safety.

"I will be fine with this guy. He may look intimidating, but I can take him - I've fought a few Dark Lords and come out alive and well. Whatever you guys do, just get her to safety."

Although Wind would probably never admit it, he would prefer to take on the Sith by himself. He did not find it very fair to gang up on opponents, even Sith.

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeFri Dec 12, 2008 7:20 pm

~He was in a desperate mood because he didn't want to fight. His only desire right now was to get Himiko out of here and in an area where he could help her out without unwanted distractions. What he did notice though was that Richter had made a performance against something he couldn't, and was able to get rid of it without trouble. He could sense Richter pacing around him and Himiko, making sure he set a perimeter or something like it to protect them both. He was grateful for it, and now that that Richter's presence was between him and the Sith's presence, he knew this was his chance to get Himiko away safely.~

~He could hear subtle breathing under Richter's, Himiko's, Ukushi's, and his own. He figured that it was the Sith making some sort of attempt to rail on them all in his own way, then he noticed that the Sith's mental defenses were down a little, and he was able to read his intentions vaguely, but enough to figure them out. He concentrated his mind into the Force and then used the Force to set ice all around them in a 5 yard diameter. The Sith would have to do something else rather than charge them in a shifty manner, if that was what he planned to do. Considering that the Sith would somehow get through, he would use a manner of physical defense to ward of his staff, lifting his leg and using his heel to block and kick off the staff. After that, he would use Force speed to kick off the ground, slide and grab Himiko, pick her up, and jump over the ice and run using Force speed to get away. In the meantime, Himiko asked him what the keycard was for.~

"For my place, the docking bay nearby. I own it. I will carry you there to safety. Hang on."

~Then another Jedi had made his appearance, or seemed that it was given the aura he was giving off. He was sure he had met him before, but he couldn't remember right now, because his mind was still clouded a little by the dark fog. He called out to him and Richter, saying that he would keep of the Sith while they would get away. Vegito wasn't to run away from a fight, but sometimes it is better to run away from a pointless fight, especially with Himiko in her condition. He gave his thanks to the strange and yet familiar Jedi.~

"Whoever you are, thanks."

~He went to lift up Himiko on his shoulders, catching her while she ran, because in her condition she couldn't outrun him. Then he would jump over the ice in the direction of his docking bay, and began to run as swiftly as he could with the aid of the Force. He would use whatever physical techniques and Force powers necessary to keep off the Sith should he be able to get by Richter and the other Jedi, which he doubted now that things would heat up.~

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeFri Dec 12, 2008 8:24 pm

Richter retained his stance in front of the enemy until the other had made a move. Though the fog remained and the enemy remained hidden in a cloak of the Force, Richter was able to anticipate all of his would-be distractions and intercept him without actually interfering with his powers. He could have put an end to it already with his recently acquired item, given to him by Darth Fenrir, but he thought it was rather amusing to allow the Sith to think he could have his way for the time being. It was just a matter of the cat and mouse game. The enemy was the cat and the Jedi were the mice, except the mice were not mice, as least in Richter's case. His gratitude was given to fate, seeing that he was done dealing with the mechanical thing that was set upon with cruel intentions. A little disappointed, but not beyond expectations, the Sith did not reply to either Richter or Vegito’s words. With the aid of the Force, he was able to see the Sith in a sort of infrared spectrum, but that was as expect as can be explained right now. The enemy seemed to grab some sort of staff by the shape of it. Richter paced his breath in a subtle manner, breathing in the clean air and drawing to himself the strength of the Force to aid his sight and his movements.

In the manner of weird, the enemy had taken a strange strategy to speed to his left and his right as he approached them, but then Richter noticed beneath him ice taking form on the granite, which was apparently the work of his fellow Jedi Knight. The enemy would slip on the slick surface, and with his speed he could not take the traction needed to stabilize himself, and he would likely slip on his rear, and Richter would intercept him and stick his lightsaber near him. If that didn’t happen, and the enemy would somehow have the sense to maneuver out of it, he would make sure that he would not allow Vegito and Himiko to be reached by him.

In a fortunate turn of events, another Jedi had made himself known to them all. He had skillfully hid his presence in the form of Force Masking. Richter recognized all to well who this one was. He had felt it before in the Jedi Council Chambers when Shawn Faulkner, Mark Kenobi, Master Wind, and Master Kavis along with himself were discussing the future of the Jedi Order, and who to elect. Who this turned out to be was Master Wind, and enigma of a Jedi, but a Jedi nonetheless for he given out no sign of treachery towards him, and his presence was much too comforting like a Jedi’s presence to not be counted as one. Wind had instructed him and Vegito to make scarce with Himiko right after he emitted a rather potent Force Push towards the enemy.

“Tis impeccable timing Master Wind, for showing up in this manner, and we are glad of it. I see that hath contrived what of our esteemed foe possibly covets.”

Himiko had just before inquired what Vegito had passed to her, and he audibly explained it was a keycard to his docking bay. Richter had never seen it before, and he was hoping for a chance to inspect the fabled X-wing that Vegito had constructed. The other Jedi Knight had informed Himiko that he would carry her to safety, and Richter would make sure that he did, by being their bodyguard.

It brought a nostalgic feeling to him, a memory in a different yet similar situation such as this, when the Jedi Temple was attacked several months ago. He was involved in the mayhem as a padawan, trying his best help the other Jedi. Though he failed to complete his main goal, he was able to spare the lives of two Jedi, one that was a Jedi Master that conferred upon the level of Jedi Knight. He would live up to that, even in the smaller ways that were nearly always taken for granted.

Wind had made clear what he was about to do, so Richter departed with Vegito, using a small measure of the Force to leap over the ice as Vegito had done, but he would stop after following Vegito another several yards. From there, he turned around and faced direction from where they had come, ready to give aid to Master Wind, or to intercept the enemy.

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeSat Dec 13, 2008 1:57 pm

The moment he saw the ice forming on the ground he threw out his left hand and released the coin in-between his fingers all the way to the left. The coin flipped to the ground and the instant it touched the ice the coin turned to grey dust and the ice vanished. The effect of a darkside talisman. The assassin’s reaction and the affect of the talisman were so quick that his movements were not affected. He was able to keep away from Richter though he was still slowed down however by a blast of the force.

Though he received a blow from the force at the back of his knees he did not lose his stance or ability to move. Yes the nerves bid his muscles to bend his knees and fall but the cybernetics in his legs held fast and did not move involuntarily like his muscles would. It hurt a bit, all the strain on his muscles to move in accordance to his nerves as his cybernetics held fast, but the pain was quick and his nerves and muscles quickly relaxed.

The assassin’s eyes narrowed at the one who had though he was hidden from the assassin until now. This one who had finally made his full appearance was definitely a Jedi of sorts with a bit more experience with Sith then the others he was dealing with had.

The assassin stopped before the newest Jedi as he saw most of the others running. The assassin replaced the talisman that held the power of force wind on his belt but griped the last talisman coin in the pal of his hand. As he focused for an instant of the necklace in Vegito’s hand. The force pull power of the talisman was aimed and activated pulling the necklace toward the assassin with an immense amount of strength due to its small size and the affect of the talisman, which now had no pull on the concentration of the assassin.

The assassin was only about ten feet from the newly arrived Jedi and he finally lowered the force cloak around his body finally making his image visible. He readied himself, bending his knees a bit as he glared at the Jedi before him but still said nothing as he still kept a check on everyone else.

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeSat Dec 13, 2008 9:52 pm

(My apologies to throwing this in here before Himiko or Dawn could make their own replies, as per the posting order. However, I don't think the posting order at the moment will cause any serious disruption to this RP.)

As Richter and Vegito tried to get Himiko to safety, Wind noted how the Sith used a talisman to absorb the ice that Vegito had created. The Jedi Mystic knew that talismans gave any Sith a good increase of power. Perhaps this particular Sith's powerful aura was being boosted by talismans; that his true power was somewhat lesser; and Wind had no doubt that this foe's advantage would quickly slip away if the talismans escaped his possession.

The Jedi quickly thought over the talismans the Sith had displayed, and these were the ones he caught on to: the first seemed to be a boost for Force Wind, and the second was a form of Force Absorb.

Another thing Wind noticed was that, while this was definitely a Sith with actual flesh, his base power was somewhat lacking. These talismans, to his experience, should have boosted his power to a higher level than he had seen the Sith perform. Wind also noted how the Sith did not fully collapse when he aimed his Force Push at the back of the darksider's legs.

"Is it possible that he is a cyborg?" Wind thought.

The Jedi knew from past experiences with cyborg Sith, as well as stories about Grievous and Darth Vader, that one's flesh and midi-chlorien count was a key factor of Force power. Grievous was completely incapable of using the Force because he had lost so much of his organic body, and that Darth Vader's power and potential greatly diminished after he was forced to don his suit, due to the damage he sustained at the hands of the mighty Obi-Wan Kenobi. This Sith's cyborg implants gave him a physical advantage, but it also meant that Wind would have a fairly good upper hand in Force power, especially if he could disarm the Sith of his talismans. In this brawl, the more powerful Force user and skilled swordsman would likely win - Wind had little intention of making much physical contact.

"Vegito, Richter - the talismans!" he warned his allies, and sending them and their two friends a mental message of what he had taken notice of.

Wind saw the Sith draw another talisman and immediately took action, carefully but swiftly racing across the short distance between him and his opponent. As he felt through the Force that the Sith was using the talisman's power to pull on an object in Vegito's possession - entirely relying on his Force vision and sense to be his eyes due to the blindfold - Wind used his left hand to Force Pull the talisman out of the Sith's grasp, while continuing his charge at the darksider, intending to stab the Sith's left shoulder or right shoulder - respectively - with the target being determined on whether or not the Sith would facing towards or away from Wind.

"A Force Pull talisman,” he thought to himself in that instant.

The Jedi would also perform a vertical, clockwise sideways saber spin in front of himself in preparatory defense just before the moment of his intended strike. This would ward off any pre-counter the Sith might attempt from harming Wind.

Himiko started to run when she was scooped up like a bride in Vegito's arms! The temptation to blast him off her was there as she looked over her shoulder. Yet, she held in check. Very much weak, and she didn't feel like letting the creature inside her gain any sort of control.

Even without my focus jewl's I still have you young one... I will be here.. Controlling your thoughts..

She ignored it. Not wanting to belive it. Yet, was it staying dorment for the moment because of the Dark Assasin? Himiko didn't know for sure as she saw something flicker into the air followed by a shout to watch out. himiko knew exactly what it was. A Dark Tailsmen. Her eyes then drew over towards where she just knew where the man was. For a moment she felt a kinship. A strong pull of dark power before she kicked at Vegito.

"Stop Carrying me... Im not.. helpless.."

Yet, she wasn't in the best shape.. but whatever the man wanted wasn't just the jewlery. Even if he got them it wouldn't work for him. Not at this point. Vegito may have gotten it out of her chest, but it had done its damage by soaking most the power into her body.

~Vegito had heard Richter call the newly arrived Jedi Master Wind. He had heard of some other Jedi coming out of the woodworks some time ago. This Jedi was a totally mysterious person and he had never heard of a Jedi named Wind before. It must have been some name he made up to protect his real identity. For now, Vegito would let it go and ask him later, because he had to take of Himiko and get her to safety.~

~He felt Richter coming up behind him, and then stop after they had run some. Richter was probably just staying behind to make sure that the Sith wouldn't catch up to him and then try to get Himiko. A Sith wouldn't come on like this unless he had something to gain. Vegito felt the slip from his hand, and even though he thought it was important to keep, he didn't try to go after it.

"Richter, grab the necklace."

~He hoped Richter would go after and make sure it didn't fall into the hands of the Sith. Perhaps it held the key of drawing out the evil spirit from within Himiko. He then heard in his mind a call of strange voice calling out to him and Richter. The Jedi Knight figured it had to be Wind. Right now though, Vegito was too far away to help them out immediately now, for he was now approaching his docking bay. He pushed a combination on his belt and it opened one of the security doors on the front. The security door prompted a code change right away, so as soon as Vegito reached the door, he entered a six figure combination and then entered the door and let it close behind him.~

~Before he entered the door though, Himiko kinda complained for him carrying him, and Vegito just had to ignore her then. He went by one of his luxury sofas, and then put down Himiko gently, letting her slide off his right arm and let go after she was secure down.~

"Sorry for carrying you, but you were not in any shape to get away from him if he chose to chase you."

~Vegito felt bad for leaving Richter, Ukushi and Wind to deal with the Sith, but he felt confident that they would win whether or not he was there. He sent a mental message to the three good force users.~

"I'm sorry for leaving you all over there, but hang on. I'm making sure first that Himiko will be allright. I might be out there again though."

~He then looked at Himiko again, right at her eye.~

"Himiko, I wanted to ask you about the possessor within you, and how I might remove him. But, I want to make sure this Sith goes away if not defeated before I can help you in peace. Do you want me to stay though?"

~He didn't want to leave her like this, so he wanted to make sure she would be okay with it first.~

Ukushi turned as Vegito walked away. Sighing, she turned back to the assassin. Holding her glinting gold sword out in front of her, she rasped, "Sith, you shall not escaped unharmed if you dare to challenge with a war cry." Ukushi knew the man would not give up easily, but she hoped two Jedi and a war-goddess might make him think. He looked smarter than the average bear anyway. Richter would get the necklace... She hoped.

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeMon Dec 15, 2008 2:38 pm

The Sith did well to avoid Richter's intentional onslaught by positional trapping, but Richter nonetheless saw the Darksider growing into a disadvantageous position more and more. Richter studied the situation thoroughly, and allowed Vegito to increase his distance between them all. For a moment, all was silent, until Vegito had yelled out to him to grab the necklace. Somehow, he had lost his grasp on it once more and Richter reacted quickly to look behind him. The necklace was just a little to his left, so he leaped quickly at it and snatched from the air in a skillful manner with his free hand after redirecting towards himself with the Force. He rolled on the ground to his left and flipped back up, only to see that the mystery Sith finally had dropped his Force Cloak so that they could all see his physical appearance. Intrigued in meeting this enemy, he began to walk forward, back towards Wind, the Sith, and Ukushi.
A matter of seconds later, he heard Wind call to him and Vegito through mental contact, telling him about the talismans. At first he thought about his own talisman, but Wind was the using the plural form of the word, which meant that the only other alternative was that Wind was saying that the Sith had talismans himself. It explained a great many things, such as the dark fog, and the seemless use of the Force in great rations, especially how long he could maintain his Force Cloak.

"I see. What doth thou suppose we do about them? Have him relinquish them to us, or liberate them?"

He sent his own message to the Force, directed only at Wind. The situation seemed a little more difficult now, considering the depth of problem should the Sith boast of even more of these Force Talismans. He looked off into the distance as he continued his paced approach, onlooking what Wind might do before he himself would act. In the distance, he could somehow hear Himiko's protest on Vegito carrying her, and he did his best to not let his amusement be known and become a distraction. He sensed through his connection with Vegito that they managed to reach the safety of his abode, inside the docking bay he referred to. This idea was doubly impressed upon as Vegito sent out a mental message to them, apologizing for his new absence among them, explaining that he was putting Himiko's safety first. He could not blame for that, and after all, it was Vegito's priority anyway after she had appeared.

"Do not tarry if thou plans to return, otherwise, keep the lass safe."

He said it kindly enough in mentaly reply, then turned his attention to the current problem. How to deal with Sith was something that he questioned. Should they just discourage his actions or fell him? He allowed Wind to take the initiative, and decide whether or not to join him. It was possible that Wind liked to fight battles alone.

Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeMon Dec 15, 2008 2:46 pm

The instant the talisman was pulled from his hand he grimaced as he threw out his left hand with an open palm and stopped the talisman dead in mid air with his personal hold on the force. The coin hovered for a moment about a foot out of the assassins reach before he gritted his teeth a bit in pain as four thin but strong cybernetic fibers shot out of the palm of his hand wrapped around the coin and pulled it back to his gloved left hand. A hole was torn in the palm of the glove from the cybernetics and when the coin talisman, reached his hand it was pulled under the flesh of his palm with the mettle fibers as they realigned themselves with the muscle fibers they assisted in his arm. The moment he had finished securing the talisman under his flesh he turned to face the Jedi who was upon him. Facing the Jedi the assassin grinned seeing his blindfold and the oncoming close range attack after he made sure to predefined himself. Oh, this Jedi was a smarter one but that extra pre measure he made was a bit much in this situation.

With the aid of the force his weapon was activated and from the gap at its top ignited a crimson red laser blade. The blade was of the same make up of a light saber but it had a different shape about it. It stuck of about three feet and was thin, broad and curved to a point, giving it the appearance of a scythe. Quickly the assassin moved his right hand up to the mid section of the staff as he moved his weapon forwards and caught the Jedi’s blade on the outside curve of his blade and holding him in a stale mate before forcing the blindfolded Jedi back with nothing but a massive amount of physical force that didn’t seem to match the assassins figure.

The assassin then changed tactics a bit a made a lengthy jump backwards putting about fifteen feet between himself and the blindfolded Jedi. He then waved his left hand a bit at his side and the haze of darkness in the area seemed to draw towards the assassin and then vanish once it reached him. In only a moment the area was completely voice of the haze except for an aura of it that seemed to lick off of the assassin’s form.

Finally he spoke in a cold heartless voice that sounded like a hiss of a snake, matching the tone one would think the serpent would have spoken to Adam and Eve in.

“Very good Jedi. I have a proposition for you now.”

The assassin took a breath and looked down at his left hand as he flexed his fingers and continued on.

“I will leave without being any more of a nuisance…for now… if I can have …”

It seemed the assassin was ignoring all else but the blindfolded Jedi, but how true could that be, for he kept a tight grip on his scythe styled weapon and held it ready before him even though the rest of his body seemed rather relaxed. He also suddenly made a fist with his left hand and the talisman was reactivated from within the flesh of his palm and the pull on the necklace towards the assassin was renewed. As this happened he finished his sentence.

“…that.”

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeMon Dec 15, 2008 3:53 pm

As Vegito took off with Himiko on his back, and Richter managed to intercept the necklace, Wind's and the Sith's weapons clashed. His attempted Force Pull was avoided as the Sith countered by grasping the talisman with the Force and embedding into his palm, which Wind found to be a little odd, but somwhat typical for a Sith.

Using foresight from the Force, the Jedi prepared himself for his enemy's powerful, cybernetic throwback with the scythe. WInd was able to hold his ground, but just barely. By this, he was able to measure just how strong this Sith was physically. The Sith immediately retreated after this parry, once more covering himself in the mask of darkness. Wind barely saw the point of this - being blindfolded, his eyes were not the thing the Sith had to hide from. He saw and felt everything with the Force, even the now-darkness enshrouded Sith. Wind's master had taught him to see through Force clouds and keep his mind clear against darkside powers like Force Fear. He knew that this Sith could not know all of Wind's knowledge, but what was the point of hiding himself in darkness? Was it an intimidation tactic or a matter of theatricality?

"Richter, Vegito, those talismans of his are giving him that much power. If he is a cyborg as I suspect, his Force power will be lesser than that of a purely organic Sith - if we can get those talismans." Was the mental reply he sent to his allies.

But Wind let that matter slide for the moment as the Sith spoke eerily, likely due to his corrupted soul. As the Sith spoke, the Jedi was a bitter glad that the Sith had manners, and original lines as well, to boot. Wind thought of considering the foe's proposition, until he sensed that Sith's objective remained on the amulet Vegito removed from Himiko.

Knowing that his fellow Jedi Knight had removed the amulet from Himiko for a reason likely connected to her possession, he doubted that giving the amulet over to this Sith was a good idea. The darksider already seemed to take too much interest in Himiko, and Wind was sure his only intent for retaining the amulet would to use the amulet for its possessive power. No matter how much he would have liked let the Sith go, he could not do so with a clear conscience.

"No way we'll let you have that!" Wind shouted at the Sith, before the words "that" even left his lips.

Using the Force to find the Sith's location, Wind approached his enemy with blinding speed, closing the distance within seconds, spinning his blade vertically counter-clockwise twice in a full body radius, just before performing a 180°to 0° (left to right) horizontal slash, his intended target being the Sith's neck. Hopefully this attack would stop the Sith's pull on the necklace in its tracks, but Wind was also considering Richter's own ability to hold on to it.

"You want out of here in one piece, then you had just better leave empty-handed."

Wind noted the Sith's Force mana would likely be waning by now. The darksider had used much of his power to mask and enshroud himself in darkness, as well harnessing the Force talismans' powers. Wind himself had not used much Force power other than the Force Push and Pull, so his own mana would still be stable.

"Richter, destroy that damn amulet, quickly!" He urged the other Jedi through mind connection. Hopefully with the amulet gone, the Sith would leave Wind and the other alone.

Seeing WInd attack, Ukushi said, "Do not hurt him, Jedi. This kind of scum doesn't deserve it. But I agree, Richter, that you should destroy that trinket."

By now she was barely containing herself. So bad was the yearning to slit the intruders throat for going after the girl, that she took a half-step forwards. Locking eyes with the assassin, she let her rage show. Ukushi felt as though every bone in her body wanted to rip him apart.

"You.... know... how... close... you... are... to... death...?"

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeMon Dec 15, 2008 8:18 pm

Blinking back she didn't bother to look in the pain room .For now all she could feel was the being inside her mind and the call to fight. The call to see why that specific Sith was after her. She knew it was the possessor and it would be a long road ahead for them all.

"You muust not let him have that necklece.. I know it.The moment I had touched it. it.. well. bonded to me.. It has part of my own self inside it. The connection to the flesh was his way to keep me in control. I can feel him Vegito.. I.. I was a fool to search out.. and let my anger overwhelm me.. The years it seems spent apart were longer then that. "

*chuckles* Keep it as a lesson.. whomever has it and learns that they can control you.. I will gain power. I don't think you're ready to give up soo soon. it's why I chose you.. I would have no other.. but.. that one out there.. I like him.. HIs sense of purpose is dark.. decieving.. '

Himiko ignored him. It was like having a backseat driver in the cockpit as she closed her eyes and forced him back into the shadows of her mind. The only thing that was saving her was the one small speck of light that was in the darkness. The speck of light that Vegito had brought out so long ago.

"I hated you.. I still do to a point.. But.. I remember.. Vaguly what you did.. What I could become.. I. I want that again.. But.. his.. his power is storng. If I wanted to I could give in and have that power.. The Being is a Sith Lord as ancient as Exar kun. Full of darkness and power.. Why he chose me.. I still dont' understand... But Vegito.. The necklece.. while it has the feel of power.. Its partially my soul.. me.. If it's destroyed...."

She paused.. Hell.. she dint' know if it could be destroyed. But all theses can be destroyed somehow.

" This thing.. He destroyed his life and became a Wraith.. and I fell for it.. COnsumed by power.. I can do so much more with the right training.."

Himiko left out that if at the hands of the Sith.. she would be a highly formabadle foe once trained. In the end it was her potential. To become great. Her darkness and hate that somehow reminded the Wraith what he was once in the flesh.

"If I have the necklece back it can only focus his power as you saw.. he could destoy me with it. But it has the double edged sword.."

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeTue Dec 16, 2008 5:45 pm

~Vegito wiped his head because he was still sweating in his effort to remain focused while fighting off the effects of Force Fear, and keeping up his effort to protect Himiko, and then his run get inside the docking bay. He wasn't exactly tiring out, but he wasn't exactly having an easy time at this either. Himiko began to explain why the Sith should not have the necklace, but he had guessed this much already so it wasn't like it was a big surprise now. But what he did find surprising was that the possessor had remained partly inside of her, so there was a chance he could take control again. He was a little upset in that he heard that she felt almost needing the darkness again.~

"We are not going to let him have the necklace. I can promise you that Himiko. But, we weren't exactly years apart from each other. I think it has only been a year or two at the most, but I guess lots can happen during that time. I was hoping that you were working on blocking out the darkness, but it looks like its making you think you want it still, that you can never have the light again. Don't listen to that."

~He hoped he sounded reassuring when he said that, but he didn't exactly know what was going on outside. A lot of it was guesswork on what he felt was going on out there. He did hear Richter's mental message on hurrying if he planned to go back out, or just stay with Himiko if that was better. He also heard from Wind through the Force that the Sith had Force Talismans, which was why he was able to expel so much Force power without really draining himself, but he had to be straining himself now.~

~Coming back to Himiko, he was a little hurt to her that she still hated him for whatever reason. He couldn't understand that, after what they have both been through now. But he could understand if it was just the darkness controlling her feelings. She did at least remember what was he was trying to do last time they had met, but fate did not allow them to continue. Now they had the chance again, if he could somehow help her get rid of the evil spirit of the ancient Sith Lord she mentioned. He still had the other pieces she was wearing, and only the necklace was in Richter's possesion for the moment.~

"So destroying the necklace could get rid it? What about the other jewelry? Once they are destroyed, this Sith Lord should no longer have any connections to you. We might have to destroy together at the same time though."

~He had heard of things like this before, and he thought it was Richter that mentioned to him now that he thought about it. These things were dangerous to whoever possessed whatever pieces that held such spirits. He kinda figured out why she was a good host body.~

"This ancient Sith Lord is working on your faults and using them to increase your power. But you should know that you can turn your faults into strength for the light, because I have done it too. We can work together on this. Tell me though, do we have to destroy these things in your presence to banish him from you? He can try all he likes, but he can't defeat those that use the right way to do things, like us. You must want to expel him for it work I think."

~He was thinking really hard on how to solve the problem, and it was a difficult puzzle to tackle. Although he was a scientist at one time, all he could do was think up theories.~

"If yo ucan.. But the part of my being that is in the necklece could be lost as well.. I don't know what could happen. But it woudl help. I know it would. "

Himiko replied and turne dher head away to look at the pale metalic walls. She so very much wanted to flee. To be rid of the vilness that was part of her being. Yet, she knew she coulnd't. The Assassin was still out there and no doubtly would try to come after her for the reason he appeared.

"I still remember.. but there is the part of me that still hates you.. and the part of myself that loves you as a family member."

It was probably the only reason she hadn't truly attacked him. It was that one fraction of good that was instilled inside of her that made it possible for that outcome.

"Yet, its this thign inside me that needs you.. For whatever reason..."

Yet, if they realy thought about it.. the answer was simple.. Kill Vegito and take his powers to compleate what was needed to be done.

PostSubject: Re: Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple   Coruscant- Waiting from without the Temple - Page 4 Icon_minitimeTue Dec 16, 2008 6:17 pm

The assassin grimaced as he closed his mind completely to the force outside of his body which caused the aura of darkness to fade from around his form. It was time to conserve some energy and maybe even fool them into thinking he had a lack of it. A little more wouldn’t be bad at the moment though, with all these Jedi around. It may seem odd that even though he had cut off his usage of the force outside of his own person the talisman continued to be active and pull the necklace towards the assassin with a now even greater amount of force. The talisman was separate from the assassin’s body yet residing in it where it was being fed whatever amount of power it needed to continue its pull besides the reserves of power the Sith had placed within it already. He gave it one command and that was all he had to do, he didn’t even have to concentrate on it to continue its affects.

Hearing the blindfolded Jedi announce that he would not allow him to have the necklace he assassin bent his knees and groined as he readied himself for the oncoming attack. Already ready for it when it came, (they always go for the head), the assassin executed a feet of agility as he moved back just enough so the blade of the light saber just missed his neck, and then quickly moved his scythe down under the Jedi’s blade and then pulled up and over to his left side, hooking the Jedi’s blade in the curve of the scythe’s crimson one. He held him in a stalemate this time and poke in a whisper only he would be able to hear, for it would sound like nothing but a hiss to everyone else.

“You do not use your eyes; you rely on the force to much in a fight. I am guilty of it to I suppose but the difference is I don’t have to, I just think it is more fun. Things get to be much more interesting this way don’t they?”

The assassin heard what the girl said about destroying the necklace and let out a small chuckle as he continued, now opening and closing his free left hand.

“Are you guys going to do my job for me? Are you going to destroy the necklace for me? Are you going to break the cell that soul is in?”

The assassin leaned forwards a bit with a wide grin.

“You speech to me as though I am a Sith, but I have not been a member of their little club for over a hundred years now. They kicked me out. I got bored too often and found new ways to entertain myself. They didn’t like that. That is why I am banished.”

He let his eyes wander over to the girl staring right at him and stared back with a grin still on his face. He then gave what some would call a respectable nod as his red pupils dilated a bit against the black of his eyes before he switched his eyes back to the Jedi he kept in a stalemate of blades.
