Tython - Visiting the Forefathers

Shaking his head from side to side, Terand looked at Dawn. He turned and gave Ashaiya a nod before looking back to Dawn and corrected her.

"The light side does not grant one wisdom, peace, or knowledge and the dark side does not create anger, hatred, or fear. Those are factors that lead a person one side of the force or the other. Now you will learn how to use the Force. Close your eyes and let your mind reach out to the Force. Allow it to see the surrounding area for you."

While Terand would teach his new padawan she would go off and find a training room, with droids hopefully still in working condition. Searching room by room being lead by her lightsaber currently on stun, she found several rooms that appeared to be just living quarters. Along with two bathrooms. Going down another hall and down the steps of a large staircase she eventually found a large white room, with a few weeds poking through the floor. Though nothing else seemed to be damaged as she checked around, eventually opening a room where she found quite a few ASP-19 battle droids. Though a number of them were beyond repair, she did find a few still in working condition. Just currently shut-downed. Finding the console to try and activate them she sighed when nothing happened. Noticing the droids had lightsabers though.

Deciding it'd be best if she checked their lightsabers it appeared they were just simple training lightsabers, so they couldn't do much damage regardless. Though checking the damaged droids if they had any weaponry, she found only a few more working practice lightsabers. Placing each on her sash she finally managed to make the droids follow her after manually powering them up. Though they wouldn't last long.

In an attempt to find her way out she stumbled upon a few more rooms, appearing to be storage rooms. Though while the supplies weren't of much use at the time she did find a few items that were of particular interest. A few Jedi robes still in good condition, some Jedi armor in decent condition, some materials that could be used in constructing a lightsaber hilt, and one datapad that had a great number of navigational charts on it. Using her newly found droids to help her carry stuff out, she once again set out on finding a way back to the roof. Though surprised as she happened upon the temple security/control room. Approaching what appeared to be the main computer, a large thing of buttons and such followed by a large screen.

Pressing a few buttons and whatever she eventually found with one press of a button the temple abruptly lighted up inside. For the most part anyways, as some lights were simply broken. However for the most part the lights in the temple burst back into life and lit the temple up. Taking a moment to adjust her eyes to the sudden light she then turned her lightsaber off, since it was no longer necessary. Looking back at the screen she found that she apparently just turned on the generator, now feeding power into the temple once more. Checking the computer for any detected fires or anything, everything was okay. Just a few cameras offline and the elevator she found earlier damaged. Along with a few other things. But none of which all that important.

:: "Uh...Master. It appears I've managed to restore power back into this Temple. Although unintentional. I bel-" ::

Her connection with his mind quickly broken when she saw the reflection of the droids behind her abruptly drop whatever they were once carrying, and activate their weapons. Quickly turning and activating her lightsaber, she no longer had it on stun. Parrying one droid she cut off another droid's weapon hand, impaled another, and Force Pushed the last out into the hallway. While they were down she quickly turned to the computer and checked the training droids status, currently being commanded to attack. Changing it so they were on their default shutdown, she found that only two of the droids behind her remained down. The other seemingly malfunctioning attacked once again where she then cut the droid in half in a swift motion.

Sitting down she took note of the computer registering a few of the droids currently malfunctioning. As she had personally found out.

:: "Sorry 'bout that, just some training droids that were left on attack. If you're going to go back into the temple, I suggest you watch you step. A few of the training droids are malfunctioning, and are no longer responding to the Head Computer." ::

Now checking the cameras she quickly looked at each one, flipping to the next camera. A few of them were currently offline, so she would have to check out the areas personally. But she took note of one interesting camera feed, apparently the lights had awakened a small nest of Laigrek. Odd...she thought they were exclusive to Dantooine, they must have been shipped here some time ago. Since they were currently located in the main hall she would have to take care of them herself. Downloading those navigational charts from the datapad she found earlier, as well a map of the temple from the main computer she then set out to the main hall with her rifle and lightsaber. Deciding to leave everything else there.

Freezing, Dawn glanced down before saying, "Terand, I need to leave, now!"

Clicking a button in her pocket, she took a step backwards before launching herself off the roof. Falling in midair was pretty peaceful. So peaceful in fact, she smiled before twisting her body to land in the open cockpit of her ship. Waving to Terand as she passed and sending out a short, small tremor in the Force to Ashaiya, she grasped the controls and blasted away.

Terand managed to catch Dawn as she left. Her sudden departure without an explanation left the Jedi a little suspicious of the girl. Almost like she had something to hide. His eyes narrowed as the ship went out of sight. Terand headed back inside the temple. As he entered the hallway from the steps, he met up with three of the malfunctioning droids. As they raised their lightsabers to attack, Terand simply threw up both his hands and and pushed the two in front back against the third and all three fell on their backs. Before they could get back up, Terand had already drawn both his Westar 34 blasters from their holsters and fired two rounds at the droids his pushed. The blaster bolts struck their heads and sent them offline and also holding down the third, which met the same fate almost instantly with a third blaster shot.

Approaching the droids, Terand disarmed them of the training lightsabers and placed them on his belt before going off to find Ashaiya in the security room only to have just missed her. With a quick look at the camera screens, he saw he heading down a hallway and before seeing the Laigrek in the main hall. Figuring that was where she was going, he followed after her.

Upon stepping into the main hall she at first tried luring the Laigrek out by using the Force to throw a rock out towards the main door of the temple, hoping they'd follow it. Of course...she didn't completely think it through as they all seemed to simultaneously turn to her and charge.

"...Could have thought this thro-"

Ending her little speech there as she quickly side-stepped to the right of an attacking Laigrek, and with a quick swing of her now ignited lightsaber she cut right through the thing. Pointing out her left hand and using Force Push she then sighed, not really wanting to kill them all simply because they weren't wrong to make this place their home. Being abandoned and all, it was just unfortunate they would automatically defend their current residence.

A sudden burst of air shot past Ashaiya and pushed open the doors in the main hall. Another burst followed and pushed the Laigrek back towards the open door. Stepping up beside Ashaiya, Terand held both his blaster pistols out towards the creatures and began firing. Instead of hitting them, the bolts hit the floor near their feet causing them to back up. He continued shooting at their feet and past them until they ran out side and away from the temple. Turning towards Ashaiya, Terand holstered his blasters.

"You should learn to be a little more careful."

"Good thing life keeps providing these moments from which to learn from."

Deactivating her lightsaber since they seemed to have retreated now, she placed the lightsaber back onto her belt.

"Probably should root out those remaining malfunctioning droids. Though they aren't much of a threat, I just don't think I could sleep well knowing they're running around."

Turning around to face Terand now she had a light smile on her face, though she then noticed the lack of Dawn. Was it wrong her smile seemed to broaden with that discovery? Possibly, depending on how deep these emotions went. Noticing at the corner of her eye another malfunctioning droid apparently trying to sneak up on them at the corner of the room, she stretched out her right hand and lifted the droid up in midair. Slamming it back onto the floor head-first, so it would no longer be online.

"Where's Dawn?"

"Indeed."

It was a reply to both learning from moments in life and to hunting down the droids. Terand noticed something had drawn Ashaiya's attention from him by her eye movement before she lifted her hand. Turning to see what it was, he watched as the droid was lifted and then slammed back down.

"Dawn left rather urgently."

"She left? Did she at least say why? Or where?"

Turning her full attention back to Terand now.

"All she said was that she had to go."

Terand examined the main hall quickly before looking down the hallways.

"Any idea how many droids are left?"

"Kind of rude..."

Sighing however, she then recalled the signatures that represented the malfunctioning droids on the main computer.

"There was approximately eight. I've already taken out four myself."

"And I took out 3 while leaving the roof. One more around here somewhere."

"Hm...one large temple, an' one small rebellious droid. Where do you think it can be?"

"Could be any where. Best to go back to the security room and check the camera feeds."

"You're right. Let's go."

Turning away from the main hall she began her way back to the control room, with the lights she was finding it much easier remembering where to go. Just hopefully the droid wasn't in one of the areas where the cameras were offline.

Following behind Ashaiya, Terand took extra precautions. He allowed his mind to tap into the force and see the areas around them as they walked.

Continuing her way to the control room she soon faintly sensed something, though what she sensed did not beam with life. She could sense something...she wasn't really sure what it was she was sensing. But something. It took her a moment, but she soon realized what exactly it was she was sensing. It was the remaining droid and it was nearby. Reaching the end of the hallway she quickly reflexed and ducked when a yellow practice lightsaber soon swung over towards her. Focusing on her Teras Kasi training, as well using the Force to add a little impact she now threw her right hand into the torso of the training droid that now stood before her. Still crouching she had to raise her arm a little to make contact.

Her entire palm tearing through the casing of the droid and pushing it's interior parts through it's own back. Falling back and onto the ground, she then stood up.

"Well, that didn't take nearly as long as I thought."

Standing back a short but safe distance from the practice saber's blade, Terand watched as Ashaiya dispatched the droid with his. It looked as though he was allowing her to deal with the droid all alone, but he was ready to act if she needed help. Terand walked up to the fallen droid and relieved it of it's weapon before looking to Ashaiya.

"Now that the warm up is down, shall go and begin training?"

"While that's a good idea Master, perhaps we should settle down in the Temple first? Since we just secured, and brought power back to the temple. Maybe we should collect supplies, or choose temporary rooms?"

Becca swerved at the last second, avoiding the temple but crashed nonetheless, toppling several trees. Then she felt a sharp pain in her head and the world blurred.

"Alright. First we'll need supplies. There should be some sort of edible vegetation on this planet."

Heading outside, Terand headed to his ship for some bags. About halfway there, he spotted the incoming ship in the sky. From the look of things, it was going to crash. The ship flew by high over his head and the temple and went a way from the temple before making it's crash landing.

:Ashaiya, there's a ship crash outside, hurry.:

Implementing the power of the Force, Terand ran right for the ship.

Stepping out of the main door of the temple, she then took a deep breath as Terand went to get supplies. However noticing a ship heading in her, and the Temple's direction her eyes widened slightly before implementing force speed and force jump to make a long jump out of the way. Landing on a tree branch a decent distance away she noticed the ship had apparently turned and crashed a little away from the temple. Receiving her master's telepathy she made no comment back as she quickly used Force Jump once again and Force Speed to make her way quickly to the ship.

Catching up to her Master, she soon saw the girl holding the sword. Taking her lightsaber in hand, though not igniting it.

"We're just here to help girl."

Looking over the girl, she decided to go with the flow for now.

"Okay then. But first thing's first. I'm Rebecca. Who are you?"

"I'm Terand and she's Ashaiya."

Already being introduced, she didn't need to say anything to the girl.

"We should bring her to the medical bay just in case."
