Darkness on the sands of a desert planet once again.

He had hopped ship to the desert planet Tatooine on the hint that there was a Jedi residing here at the moment. He had been looking for a real challenge for far too long and if the rumor he was fallowing held its weight then this would prove worthy of this former Sith’s time. Bestine was where he landed and where this Jedi was rumored to be, though it was new information and not as reliable as this assassin would have hoped, though it was enough for him in his eagerness.

He had no publicly known face so what is the point of a name for people to call him by. His body is thin but toned muscle lies under his skin which is ash gray in color with dark silver veins visible from beneath and large patches of metallic fiber cybernetics visible all over at least half of his body, except for his face. His face is a bit bony and narrow with thin lips yet he is handsome in its own manner, with eyes which are solid black with red dot pupils. His hair is strait and falls just over his eyes and consists of mostly white strands with locks of silver and black. He clothes consist of a pair black tightly woven cloth pants held up with a black leather belt holding his personal affects, a black leather vest over a black skin tight long-sleeved shirt, thin black leather gloves that go past his wrists and hug his slender fingers . However, his entire appearance is fully clad under a heavy black cloth cloak with its hood up.


He walks among the lightly crowded streets around mid day his feet silent as he moves but every two steps he takes there is a light tap of metal on the ground for in his right hand is a staff. It is made of a black polished metal, and is six and a half feet long. Running up and down it are half centimeter, randomly curved ridges making it easy for him to grip in his gloved hands. Midway up the staff there is a small silver switch hidden in-between the grooves and at the top edge of the staff is a small one foot gap which is barely noticeable. Though the staff is very heavy, the metal being extremely dense, he carries it as if it were a feather in his hand as he moves along.

A wisp of wind sends a light spray of sand at the assassin causing him to narrow his eyes to about closed as he curses to himself in a voice sounding more like a hiss.

“Damn this sand, and this planet! This Jedi had better be here.”

Dusk turned the corner to see a dark figure walking. "Darn... there goes my cover..."

Dusk turned back but felt the Force pulse within him. Silently, he lowered his awareness to the world.

"Luckily, he's looking for Jedi. I'm only a Padawan... hope he notices the difference. Then again, hope he doesn't notice me at all!"

It hit him like a wave of mist, cool and soothing to many but distinctly agitating to him personally. It was not as strong as he had hoped but then again maybe it was just the power this one had to conceal themselves and their usage of the force. Whatever the case this one was close and a definite user of the force which meant they were to be challenged; whether aligned with light or dark it did not matter. Finding this one was all that mattered now. The assassin stopped walking and opened his mind to the world around him sending out a wave that made some of the nearby bystanders stand up straight and let out a light groan. The ex-Sith assassin grinned in satisfaction as he moved the concentration of his mind from individual to individual searching for this other user of the force. Though he did this he kept his physical appearance rather inconspicuous.

Double Crap thought Dusk whirling and racing down a side ally. Oops... The ally was a dead end. He could try to jump out but it would have to take a lot of power and the Force.

"I don't like the looks of this..."

The moment he touched the mind young trainee with his own he retreated his mind back into his own head and put up the mental walls he constantly used to defend his mind from any attacks from others. However that instant of mind touching mind would have given the boy a strong image of the madness and revengeful thoughts that this ex-Sith Assassin retained in his soul. With a sharp grin and narrowed eyes the assassin walked right to the entrance of the alley the boy had run into knowing well before he reached the entrance that the boy would be trapped by a wall that made up the alley’s dead end. He let out a light chuck as he lifted his staff off the ground and griped it in his hand at his side as he walked down the alley glaring at the boy. He spoke about halfway down the alley in a voice just audible filled with cunning and sounding more like a hiss of a snake then the voice of a human.

“Hello young learner of the force. Do not even fret yourself with running…it would be a waste of my energy.”

Dusk spun and growled low in his throat. "Don't mess with me."

The assassin’s eyes narrowed even more at the growling comment of the boy yet his smirk remained and he continued to advance towards him. He spoke again this time a bit louder and with more authority.

“One should learn to respect your elders! … I suppose I will teach you.”

The grip on his staff tightened as he opened up parts of his mind touching the force around himself and claiming it as an extension of his body and soul, using his hatred, anger, and sense of revenge to fuel it. He did nothing with his control over the force yet but said one more thing as he advances even more.

“Besides what more can you do than learn.”

"Like, kick your butt?" Dusk asked, practically spitting acid.

A frown came to the assassin’s face a moment before his image faded away. It seemed as though he had vanish into thin air when in fact he had used the force to bend light around himself making it seem as though he was transparent. He then moved forwards with a speed that would make his image but a blur; that is if he could be seen. Once he was next to the boy he turned around so he was facing the same way he was but staring straight ahead. The assassin then began to speak still staring straight ahead as the force cloak died away around himself alowing his image to be seen again.

“My butt? I believe that is highly unlikely.”

Spinning, Dusk whips out a kick that would break a normal persons spine. He moves quickly and silently. A female, watching from the wall murmurs:
"Like a hawk and an owl."

His reaction is almost instant as he move’s his staff just enough to take the force of the kick instead of his back. Being that the staff was made up of such a dense material it would most likely hurt no matter which way it was kicked. Still when the kick made contact with the staff it only budged a bit from the force of the bow as it was held so firmly in the assassins hand and reinforced by the cybernetic fibers in the muscles of his arm.

“You will have to be faster and less predictable then that child. Remember that it is your life that you are now fighting for. I am going to kill you boy.”

Growling, a slightly demonic look entered his eyes as he ducked between the mans legs and flipped out fist behind him to catch the man's spine.

His eyes sharpen as he watches the boy’s movements but doesn’t move in the least. Did this boy really think he could harm him, a former Sith assassin learned well in the use of the dark side of the force? How insulting! Though he now had a slight respect for the boy’s courage it was not enough to change his mind of the boy’s fate. He felt the boy’s fist crash into his spine and did not expect what happened next making the assassins eyes go wide in surprise. The bones of the assassin’s spine cracked loudly as they became frayed with breaks. He knew he was old but the criochamber must have had effects on his body more sever then he thought. The assassin gritted his teeth and cursed in pain as he fell forwards on the ground, dropping his staff and squirming a bit before eventually laying still and silent. It was barely audible but after a moment on the ground there was a faint humming of what sounded like small machines coming from his spine.

Growling, Dusk slid backwards. He watched the man hit the ground but didn't move until he stopped. Then he walked up to him and hissed, "Ready for round two?!"

The assassin closed his eyes as he took a deep breath and sighed listening to the boy’s question. Every movement he made would be painful now, he knew that, but he would be able to move. The cybernetics in his spine would be able to support him now but the grinding bones would be very painful. A faint grin came to his thin lips at the thought of the pain he would be able to take advantage. His smirk faded again into a frown as he opened his right hand to his staff and used the force to pull it in a sudden moment right to his palm. He griped the staff at its mid section and turned his head just enough to see the boy and glare at him as he answered the question in a sharp hiss of anger and pain.

“Are you boy, ready to take on my pain?”

The assassin quickly moved up so he was kneeling on one knee, the bones in his back grinding together as he swung his staff with tremendous force and speed at the boy. As he swung he pushed up the switch on his staff and from the gap at its top shot ignited a red laser blade. The blade was of the same make up of a light saber but it had a different shape about it. It stuck of about three feet and was thin, broad and curved to a point, giving it the appearance of a scythe.

Crappy.

Swinging, Dusk ducked the blade, which sliced his shoulder slightly. Grimacing, he dive tackled the man hard.

Letting out a hiss that his attack missed he frowned but quickly saw the immediate attack of the boy and grinned. Maybe this kid wasn’t as pathetic as he first thought. Instead of moving out of the way of the tackle, which he could have easily avoided, he placed his left gloved hand in his mouth, griped the leather with his teeth and yanked off the glove exposing his pale slender fingers with bits of exposed cybernetic fibers. The moment his hand was free he felt the tack of the boy and fell backwards onto the sand as he coughed once and gritted his teeth. However his movements where quick and precise as he moved his exposed hand to the back of the boys neck and lightly griped it, there was no escaping this, not at this close quarters.

“Feel the power of the Dark Side’s Affliction boy!”

Immediately with the touch the boy would start to feel incapacitated as the poisons power of the dark side rushed through his body, mind, and soul. The boy had been stupid to get this close to the assassin and now would have to pay for his insolence. Only the assassin or another user of the force familiar with the dark power of Affliction would be able to reverse its poisonous affects now. The assassin now let go of the boy’s neck and moved away from him clutching his right side a bit where he had taken most of the force of the tackle.

"You think darkness works on me?" Dusk asked, letting the dark energy surround him. His pupils narrowed to slits as he whipped out long claw-like nails to attempt to slice his attackers stomach.

((Dusk has a black hole for a heart. Kinda like me...))

He was not surprised by the changed look in the boy’s eyes nor his ability to let the force flow around him the way he did. All it meant was he was using the dark side of the force now and that he was to be shown no more restraint. The assassin’s narrowed eyes eased a bit but his face became blank as his movements suddenly became rigid and precise. He was now using the force to assist in his movements making them precise and quicker than his nerves and muscles would allow. The dense mettle of the staff is what the claws met instead of the assassin’s stomach.

“Heh.”

The assassin held the boy’s strike in a stalemate for a second before forcing the boy back with a combination of a mental blast of the force and the swiping motion of the staff as he swung it out to the side. He then griped the staff in his hand and activated the red scythe shaped laser at its end as he moved right at the boy as a bluer of black with a streak of glowing red. He at the last instant before he collided with the boy he moved to his left with the red blade of the scythe held ready to cut through the boy’s chest as the assassin passed by.

Hissing, the wound in his chest sealed, stopping the flow of blood. Dusk no longer thought on his own. His whole being was bent on destroying this one target. Copying the man's speed he jumped, grabbed the man's head and flung his foot fast into the place where the spine had frayed.

His speed was being matched but not his reactions nor his movements, it was not possible. Only those trained as he was as a Sith Assassin would be able to and as far as he knew he was the last one trained completely as he was left. Only he knew the secrets to using such precise use of the force on his movements. The kick was knocked away by a violent swing of the black staff as the assassin swung it around his back, as he did this he stared down at his hand which was being held by the boy and grinned as he moved his hand around the boys and griped back with a grip surpassing a death grip due to the cybernetics infused in his muscles and bones. He did this for only a moment before planting his feet and throwing the boy away with a powerful over hand swing. The assassin removed his grip when he did this and it would be wise for the boy to do the same because the assassin had already swung the scythe back to his front and was now swing its blade to cut at the boys arm.

OOC: No need to reply to this "OOC" but watch your healing during fights.

"Go on, chop me up," snarled Dusk. Then he saw the girl.

Dawn had felt the intense fight from light years away and had come bolting. Now she flung herself at the man and hissed, "Don't move or I'll kill you."

OOC: Dawn is a crazy fighter, but has blind spots. So I'll tone them down and even the match.

The assassin quickly gripped the boy’s hand again when he heard what the boy said and narrowed his eyes again as he redirected the blade of the scythe to the boy’s neck where he stopped it a centimeter from the boy’s flesh. The assassin did not move his eyes from the boy as he quickly dealt with the girl who had suddenly arrived and thrown herself at him. She would be suddenly thrown up into the air, not violently, but she would be immediately suspended upside down able to move her body but unable to go anywhere. The assassin then spoke to her as he continued to hold the boy in a grip with his scythe ready to slice away at his neck if he made any sudden movements. His voice was a cold hiss with a hint of curiosity.

“What is this boy to you girl?”
