Dantooine - A New Day, A New Planet

The YT-1930 ship had landed only minutes before the loading ramp opened. Terand exited the ship clad in his casual attire of a pair of light brown pants, black boots, white shirt, and brown jacket with his weapons belt strapped around his waist. Two custom made Westar 34 blasters rested in their holsters on his thighs while his two katana shaped lightsaber hilts hung from the belt. He carried another crate off the ship and placed it to the side as he surveyed the area.

The ship had landed in a large open field. The ground was flat and stretched a good distance in every direction from the ship with nothing to obstruct the view. The area was good for the next Force lesson he would teach his padawan.

Making her way down the loading ramp, robed in a simple attire of black loose cloth pants, and white long-sleeved top that reached her waist. She had decided to put her hair in a ponytail, along with wrapping her feet with white bandages while wearing no foot-wear. She decided to take her weapons with her today, just in case the usually shy and hesitant Kath Hound decided to test its luck. Holding her shockstaff in her right hand, and with a black strap diagonally over her chest that held her DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle.

Sighing, she looked out around Dantooine. Reading about it a few times in the past. A farm-world with flat-land, mountains, oceans, and enough interesting, yet at times tragic history for a life-time. Looking out to the distance she was sure she could see a Kath Hound. Never actually seeing one before, she grabbed her rifle and aiming at the Kath Hound through the custom scope, took a better look at the creature. However she kept her finger away from the trigger. Lowering the rifle she took a deep breath, and exhaled. Finding the air on most worlds to be far better than the recycled air on a ship.

As Ashaiya exited the ship, Terand walked a few paces along the outline of the space craft as he spoke out to his padawan.

"You have already learned how to use the Force to aid in controlling objects out of reach. Now you will learn to use the Force to aid your body movements."

Just a soon as he finished talking, Terand had jumped into the air, and with a flip at the peak of his jump, landed on top of the ship.

"Feel the Force within your legs and use it to augment your strength and jump."

Straight to the point then, noticing he immediately began her training once more, and to think. They had just landed too. Oh well, what could she do? Dropping her weapons down onto the grass beside her, she looked up to where he landed. Taking heed of his words, she had found that the Force was becoming much easier. While at first it seemed impossible, it really just required she concentrate the Force like before, but direct it in a new area. From her arms and hands, to her mind, and now to her legs.

However there was always a little adjusting in the beginning. Trying a few times she was unsuccessful, however not completely. As she did jump somewhat beyond normal, she needed to focus more intently. But after a few more tries she succeeded, and subsequently tried once again where she landed on the ship with him. She had learned Force Jump, and was a bit more difficult than she expected. She'd try to remember not to get ahead of herself.

"Alrighty'. Harder than I expected."

"Good. Now once more."

Once again, Terand jumped. This time he jump off and away from the ship. Landing a good 20 or so feet away from the ship, Terand landed in a crouching position, stood up, and turned towards Ashaiya and called out.

"With the Force, almost anything is possible. All it takes is concentration."

Nodding, she then focused the Force once more. Focusing it largely in her legs so that when she did jump, it'd be far higher and further than she could possibly achieve alone. Taking a few steps before jumping, when she did she simply used the same tactic as she did previously to acquire a decent jump. Directing herself in the same general direction of where Terand was, she landed about thirteen feet, therefore only seven feet away from Terand. Pretty good try in her opinion, but that wasn't her call. Upon landing the force of impact caused her to crouch slightly, her feet a little soar from it. But straightening out she waited for his next direction.

"Very good. Now you're ready for the next ability, Force Speed. Just as you did with Force Jump, concentrate the force in your legs to increase the reaction time with your legs like so."

Calling upon the Force, Terand ran out 100 feet or so away from the ship before stopping. His body became a brown blur as he did so. Turning back to his padawan, Terand darted back towards her. His body blurred once more as he closed in close to her and stopped just a few feet infront of her.

Copying her Master, she focused the Force in her legs again. However this time she didn't jump, but rather run. After a few tries she managed to successfully do it. Running back and forth in a blur of black and brown.

After watching Ashaiya for a while, Terand turned to the crate and reached out with his right hand. An orb about the size of an adult human head flew to his hand. He then turned back to Ashaiya.

"You have learned to channel the power of Force Speed into your legs. That is the most common use for the power, but it can also be channeled through the body during combat to increase the speed of an attack or defense."

With a touch of a button, the orb flew from Terand's hand and into the air above Ashaiya. Shortly afterward, six small barrels extended into different directions of the remote as it zipped around the space above Ashaiya while rotating so each barrel aimed towards her.

"Use a combination of Sense, Speed, and Jump to avoid the remote's blaster bolts. Use your martial arts training to aid in this task. Also, the remote is set to shock so if you're hit you'll only feel a light tingle on impact."
