Tatooine (Mos Eisley) - Home once more...

The burning wind blew through the city and under the hood of the black hood worn by Zhane. It pushed the hood back revealing his short dark brown hair and blue eyes. He squinted and covered his eyes from the light of the sun. Looking towards the ground, Zhane brought the hood of the black cloak over his head yet again to shield his eyes from the blinding star. He slowly made his way through the seemingly barren city. The street he was walking through was devoid of any life whatsoever. It seemed strange that there was no one around. Then Zhane realized, he was in the part of the town known for crime. He remembered working for the Hutt that allowed him to acquire such a good pay from his work. Unfortunately he also remembered his near-death experience.

It was about 3 years ago when it happened...

A normal break-in procedure. The target was a heavily defended armory. Zhane and a few others would enter in and steal weaponry to arm the whole mob of criminals. He used his slicing skills to hack a terminal used for automatic blaster turret controls. It was successful and guards behind the blaster turret were taken out manually from the terminal. Zhane then shut off the terminal and turret. He and the rest of his colleagues moved through the defenses with stealth. When the target was reached, Zhane sliced his way into the blast doors. Not thinking carefully, Zhane walked through unknowing of the danger that awaited him. A few guards that knew of the break-in and prepared. Zhane, unfortunately, was the target of the guards. As he walked through, the guards were standing on top of a large shelf-like structure that held a large crate of blasters. They pushed it to where it fell on top of Zhane and knocked him out cold. His colleagues thought he was dead. In Zhane's head though, he wished he were. A searing pain blew through his mind as visions of his mother clouded his seemingly dead mind. He could not move, he could not think, he could not speak. He could only watch as the visions of peace in his mind turned dark and horrid as he watched his father murdered and his mother's body rot in her death bed. He let out a scream of agony and pain when he awoke on the floor of the hideout...

Zhane gasped as the scream echoed through his mind. He shook his head, hoping to rid his mind of horrid memories for the time being.

Continuing on, he found the place he was searching for, his old home. He pushed open the door; a cloud of dust greeted him, obstructing his vision for a short time. He rubbed his eyes...
