Memory charge + Training

"Do you remember anything yet Dawn?" Zanic asked turning his attention to Dawn.

"Oh! Right!" Dawn said. Turning, she closed her eyes. "I lived near a Lars... moisture farmers..."

((We've gotta get back to training soon.))

"Where did they live?" Zanic asked quickly.

Dawn's eyes widened suddenly. "They lived.... oh Master.... they lived in that burned home." Dawn felt tears come to her eyes and she pushed them down. "I think we should train now."

"Okay. I'm sorry you had to go through this." Zanic apoligized while heading back to Mos Eisley.

"It's fine... Anchorhead is a better place to train."

"Okay."

Once in the ship, he waited until Dawn had gotten aboard to take off.

After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at Anchorhead. Zanic was starting to get used to Tatooine. He found a little canyon they could train in. He beckoned to Dawn before jumping down into the canyon.

Dawn climbed down into the canyon. "Okay. How does acrobatic practice sound to you?"

"First, let's test your skills in a spar." Zanic replied.

He activated oneof his green blades and waited for Dawn to move and reply.

"Okay." Dawn eyed the second lightsaber. She waited for a moment then used Force Pull to yank off the second weapon and set it on a rock away from the two. "One blade only."

"Agreed. I think it would be unfair to use both lightsabers against you." Zanic agreed.

Zanic took the Makoshi defense stance and beckoned. "Your move.

Dawn flowed into a Form V stance. She didn't know why, but she liked it.

"Then I shall attack." Zanic said quickly as he set his saber to stun.

He rushed in and stabbed at Dawn's stomach and then slashed horizontally at Dawn's left kidney. He spun his lightsaber in front of him and jumped back.

"That is called a pre-emptive defense. Use it so you aren't vulnerable after an attack." Zanic explained and once again took the Makashi stance.

As he stabbed Dawn turned to the horizontal slash passed harmlessly. She had hardly moved and hadn't wasted energy.

"Now let's see what you've got. Attack me." Zanic said quietly.

"Ur... okay," Dawn said, then rushed forward, sweeping her lightsaber in an arch towards his stomach.

Zanic stuck both lightsabers in front him while scooting back a few inches so Dawn's saber clashed against his.

"Good, very good. I see you are skilled with a saber as you are with the force. Now, again." Zanic said. He took his defense stance and waited for the next attack.

This time Dawn slipped over him using the Force to help her jump higher. She slashed downwards towards Zanics back with the saber set to stun.

Zanic was impressed at how quickly his padawan was learning. She used force Jump to go over him at slashed at his back. Impressive. He stuck his lightsaber vertically behind his back blocking the(horizontal) slash.

"I think that should be enough for now." Zanic said gently deactivating his lightsaber and pulling his other one into his hand. "Now, how about for some acrobatic practice. You lead."

"Oh, okay," said Dawn, slightly uneasy about leading. Seeing a rock to the left, she jumped onto it then to another in a vertical line.

Zanic jumped onto the canyon wall sticking to it. From there he jumped onto a very small rock.

"For me, this is easy." Zanic grinned.

"Alright then, let's imx it up," Dawn said, returning the grin. Jumping out of the canyon, Dawn sped of into the desert.

"Be careful running on sand, it's hard. There are rocks out here. Let's see how fast we can react," Dawn called back.

"It's not hard for me to run on sand!" Zanic called after her.

He jumped out of the canyon and jumped across the sand landing on a small rock. Then another. He wasalmost caught up to her now.

Looking back Dawn saw her Master approaching. "Next come the hurdles! Speed up!" With that, Dawn flashed a smile then shot off, moving her legs to a fast, steady rhythm.

Zanic focused on the force. He sped up and caught up to Dawn easily. He looked over at Dawn when they were side-by-side.

"This s called force Speed." Zanic said. "Focus on the force and let it make you run as fast as you can." Zanic said as he passed by Dawn.
